We have several years of experience with saddles and saddle fit. We have gained knowledge in this area from some of the best saddle and tree makers in North America. We have specific saddle fitting trees available to ensure the best possible fit for your horse. It is strongly encouraged to make the time to come for an in-person saddle fitting with your horse. Our customers travel thousands of miles every year to their events; in our opinion, why not make the same effort to come see us in person and set you and your horse up for success? It will save you so much time and money in the long run and give you peace of mind to move forward with your goals.
By attending a saddle fitting in-person, we can visually show our customers what to look for regarding saddle fit. You will gain knowledge to identify potential fitting issues and get equipped with a tool box of solutions no matter what brand of saddle you are using. To be able to see the bare tree and get a visual as to which trees will and will not fit your horse is very valuable information. Nothing replaces being able to visually see the difference in saddle tree fit for our customers before all the leather and sheepskin is added to your saddle.
Although we strongly encourage to come for a saddle fit in-person to set everyone up for success, we understand some of our customers are several hundred miles away. If it is not possible to come for a saddle fitting, we can look at some very specific photos. This is extremely difficult to do with 100% accuracy through photos so we take the quality of the photos very seriously when recommending a saddle fit. We have specific photos examples of what we need duplicated to be able to give our best recommendation.
